Hope For Horses Foundation

About the Foundation
Hope for Horses Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization that will take in horses that need to be rescued or just re-homed. Sometimes life throws people curve balls and can no longer care for their lifelong horse friend. They are challenged with finding the horse a safe home. We are a safe haven for your horse. With the right training, care, and love we can match your horse up with a program to help with therapeutic riding, trail riding, or just companion for a person who needs equestrian therapy.
Why?
Hope For Horses Foundation began its journey in July of 2016 when Director, DeeAnna Straub, was searching for a horse for her new farm as she had Quarter Horses and Mustangs in the past. As she was searching the internet for a horse she came across ads for free horses. She began calling the listers of the ads and found that the owner’s needed to find homes for their horses due to unforeseen circumstances. Knowing how life can change in a split second she realized that she could help both the owners and the horse. To date the total horses we have brought to the foundation is 19.
They are:
Tweed, Penny, Miss Holly, Finn, Maggie, Maggie Mae, Betsy, Ben, Tennessee, Oakie, T-Rex, Zen, Brizo, Shoshanna, Donny, Shorty, Shima, JoJo, and Marissa
